Sewer lines can be a nasty, unpleasant, financial nightmare; but it doesn’t have to be your nightmare. By having your sewer line inspected by an InterNACHI certified technician you can get an honest, unbiased opinion of the condition of your sewer line and an idea of when routine maintenance (cleanings) will be needed. Includes video link with audio and written report of scope the same day of inspection.

~ Sewer Scopes ~
General Information - ProView Scopes provides a video camera inspection to inspect the main sewer line from the house to the street or sewer service point to the property with top-of-the-line equipment. The line is accessed through an outside clean out or access point in the home, which could include a basement/crawlspace clean out, a toilet drain line, a floor drain, a roof vent, etc. The inspector will determine the best access point, and the report will outline where the line was entered. The camera inspection does not scope every drain line in the home or all the drain lines running underneath the basement slab, for example. The intent is to inspect the line that runs from the house to the final service point, and to inspect this buried line for defects.
An internal plumbing line evaluation is both a written report and a detailed audible video inspection. ProView Sewer Scopes will evaluate your external main sewer line, materials, grading and flow. We will also carefully check to make sure your sewer line is in serviceable condition and draining to the city sewer tap.

~ Sewer Line/Septic Tank Locates and Marking ~
ProView Scopes will always attempt to locate any defects out of courtesy during a sewer scope. But in situations where the sewer line or other drain lines need to be located for renovations, repairs, etc., we can locate and mark the line every 5'-10' (can vary) or locate and flag a septic tank. Sewer line / Septic tank locates are a separate service from a normal sewer scope and applicable fees will apply.

~ Water Line, Gas Line and Electrical Line Locating ~
ProView Scopes can locate and physically mark and supply a digital map of locations of your water line, gas lines and electrical lines with our top-of-the-line Ridgid locating software and equipment. When calling the city, they will only locate the exterior/responsible portions, and we will locate the entire line from the home out. This is amazing to offer with when selling a home or plan on renovating/excavating exterior landscaping. ~ Gutter Drain Line Locates and Cleanings ~
ProView Scopes can locate and clean underground gutter drain lines that run throughout the outside of your property. These drain lines get clogged over time, lost from landscaping and most are underground and directed in unknown places that need to be located for proper drainage and routine maintenance.

~ Hydro-Jetter & Auger Cleanings ~
Proview Scopes offers Hydro-Jetter and Auger cleanings to clean for inspection purposes and routing maintenance to help your sewer and drain lines get as much life as possible. Cleanings start by going from either your indoor or outdoor sewer line access points. First, we put a camera down the line to check out the condition of the line(s) and then clean with different applications and restore the sewer line to its max potential. After cleaning the line, we provide a complimentary scope to inspect the integrity of the line and to verify our cleaning and then we will give recommendations on repair if needed, cleanings, maintenance, etc.
* Routine Hydro Jetting can prevent grease clogs, clogs from sanitary wipes/paper towels, roots, etc, and may help to avoid interruptions to normal service.
*Even if you have a professional clean your drains each year, frequent usage of your plumbing system can increase the likelihood of drain obstructions, especially if your water fixtures or drainpipes are on the older side or if you choose to use flushable wipes, heavier toilet paper, etc.
